The Trading Operations team oversees accurate booking and settlement of all of the firm’s trade activity, and is integral to ensuring efficient trade processing and minimizing risk. We are seeking a person with intellectual curiosity and a track record of success to be the next Trading Operations Associate.
In this role you will manage the settlement cycle of our trades and reduce monetary and reputational risk wherever possible, as you work closely with Fisher Investment’s Traders and counterparties at brokerage firms and custodians around the world. You will have the ability to impact the success of the firm’s portfolio management efforts by identifying and eliminating operational problems, streamlining processes and building infrastructure as we pioneer new markets.
Trading Operations gives you the opportunity to quickly learn the nuances of global market structure, trade processing, and industry-standard settlement practices. This role is an outstanding opportunity to learn about trading at Fisher and across the industry.
You will be given rotating responsibility for a section of trade activity (U.S. Private Client, Institutional Global Trading, Foreign Private Client, etc.), including trade execution reconciliation and monitoring for on-time booking and settlement of equity, fixed income, and currency trades.
We believe in providing the training needed to be successful in our entry-level roles. Accordingly, none of our entry-level jobs require the highly specialized knowledge needed for us to sponsor an H-1B visa and we therefore do not provide sponsorship for entry-level positions.
Fisher Investments is an equal opportunity employer.
