Accounts Payable Team Manager

Are you a proven leader interested in leveraging your strengths? As an Accounts Payable Team Manager, you will be responsible for driving results (like the timely and accurate payment of invoices) and guiding the team to identify, test and implement process improvements.  This team supports large volume processing for Fisher Investments and its overseas subsidiaries and this role reports directly to the Group Vice President of Corporate Finance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for ensuring adherence to operating procedures, policies and key controls
  • Develop, implement and drive team metrics
  • Drive process improvements such as the Concur expense reimbursement initiative and Corporate Travel Policy Review
  • Collaborate with other Corporate Finance Team Leaders on the creation and execution of the long-term Corporate Finance strategies and key technology initiatives

This is the role for you if:

  • You have a BA or BS in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
  • You have 2-3 years of supervisory experience in an operational role
  • You feel rewarded by developing talent and driving employee engagement through effective feedback and coaching
  • You have an analytical mindset, understanding both the big picture and the smallest details at the same time
  • You enjoy process management and have superior organizational skills
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
