The Institutional Group is a global team that works together to handle service and sales for institutional investors, internationally. The Opportunity:

 

The Institutional Client Operations Analyst works directly with our Sales & Service Relationship Managers, international institutional clients and consultants, international custodians, and various internal groups to on-board and maintain accounts for international institutional investors. You will report to the Team Leader onsite, who will support your skill and career development. This role also acts as a project manager to improve current processes, along with resolving operational issues associated with the complex workings of international accounts that trade in overseas equity markets.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Manage the on-boarding of new institutional segregated and fund accounts

  • Subject matter expert as it relates to international institutional funds and separately managed accounts

  • Assist the Institutional Client Services Relationship Managers and Sales Relationship Managers with complex client service requests

  • Create, develop, document and implement workflows and process improvements to serve the needs of our international institutional investors

  • Responsible for understanding and documenting the nonstandard operational issues typical of accounts trading in international markets, directed brokerage relationships, and other unique institutional trading operations

  • Coordinate with custodians to support institutional accounts, along with contract negotiation between clients and internal teams

  • Understand and monitor the compliance issues revolving around the international institutional industry, unique codes of ethics, and internal requirements

  • Communicate detailed international institutional investor account information to senior members of the Company

  • Aid the Institutional Client Operations Team Leader with the ongoing development of the team

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience

  • At least 2-3 years professional experience in the financial services industry

  • Familiar with securities, financial markets and institutional account types

  • Experience with customer/client service

  • Project management experience and capacity to prioritize based on priority 

  • Responsible, accountable, and motivated

Compensation:

  • $70,000 - $95,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience

  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
